Hello all!

So I have been really into prompts lately. I found this one, probably on Pinterest, and I have a serious love/hate relationship with the quote prompt. I am often unable to tend to my own needs, let alone remind a man that I like him. I think it is ridiculous to think a man needs that much reminding that I am there for him when I need to focus on my self. Let alone the fact the quote depicts men as insensitive souls who will be with whoever gives them the most attention. Geez.

But anyway, rant over. My poem is a bit dark, but so is my current mood.

Always remember, when you are in a dark place, one that sucks the happy right out of you. When the sadness sits on your chest like a million elephants, threatening to crush you mentally, spiritually and physically - remember you are not alone. I am right next to you being crushed by my own elephants. We will get through this together.
